How can you help?

Did you know that The Cat Clinic does much more than expert veterinary care for cats?? Our other activities include clinic research, education of veterinary students, taking school and TAFE based work experience students, seminars for other veterinarians and most importantly our work with stray and homeless cats.

The Cat Clinic currently helps over 150 stray cats a year. Some of these cats are reunited with their owners but most of them are rehoused through our adoption centre program. Sadly, many of them have health problems when they first come to us and need a lot of attention before they are fit and ready to be adopted by new owners. The clinic subsidises this care and also provides housing for them until they can find a new home. The remaining funds come from donations generously provided by our clients and the public. However, finding funds in these difficult economic times is increasingly difficult.

We would also like to thank the donors that have provided funds for equipment purchases – these valuable assets allow us to continue to provide the excellent level of care that we pride ourselves on.

If are able to help by making a donation or leaving a bequest please contact our practice manager Pat Antonellie at the Mt Gravatt branch, 07 3349 0811.
